If you are new, register for your first Basic-level class: pole, hammock or hoop. Our team will support you throughout your learning journey and let you know when you're ready to level up.

If you already have prior experience, please don't hesitate to email us. We will be happy to guide you toward the level that suits you best.

Create your profile on the Milan Pole Dance Studio iPhone or Android mobile application.The schedule is always available and up to date on the mobile app.

Schedule notifications are sent via email: make sure to select the option to receive email notifications. Otherwise you risk missing out on important information.

The mobile app is your best tool.

Our classes open for registration two weeks in advance. If there is a waitlist, feel free to add your name, then track your progress via the app.

Once a class is full, students are welcome to add their names to the waitlist. You can track your position on the waitlist directly on the app, and you will receive an email notification as soon as a spot opens up.  

You can be added to the class up to 2 hours before it starts; make sure to remove yourself from the waitlist if you can no longer attend.

We strongly recommend using public transportation: we are less than 5 minutes from the Place-d'Armes metro station.  

Please note that parking in Old Montreal can be a challenge year-round! There are a few indoor parking garages near the studio if you can't find street parking.  

Our late policy still applies to students who arrive late, regardless of transportation issues.

We suggest arriving 15 minutes before your scheduled class.

Your safety is important to us: if you arrive late and miss the warm-up, we reserve the right to give your spot to another student. You risk not being allowed to join the class and not being refunded. A proper warm-up is essential to staying safe and avoiding injury.

Please remove your jewelry, particularly rings, to avoid damaging our equipment.

Pole: shorts and a tank top — skin contact is essential on the pole! Avoid hand and body lotion on the day of your class.

Floorwork: knee pads.

Hammockn and Hoop: fitted clothing, long enough to cover the armpits, elbows, and back of the knees. Nothing with zippers or buttons.

Strength & Flex, Super Splits: yoga mat.

We use a pagella (report card) system to help students track their progress through each level. Each level includes a prescribed list of tricks and skills to work towards. Once you can confidently and safely execute a move, your instructor will sign it off on your Pagella. When you complete all the required skills for your level, you’re ready to progress to the next one.
